the clock on the wall reads a quarter past midnight

lately i've been more interested about the people that are up when i'm shooting, the places they occupy, and what this can possibly say if anything about who is inside. light is selective at night for obvious reasons. but we controll it. we own the night. i'm wondering what it means when our existence is known only from a lightsource. subcultures both well known and not came from night. what does a house say about a person?

Sir! I only jsut found your blog. Very very nice. i like the night time stuff a lot. its incrediblly moody and melodramatic. The one with the basement light across the snow...holy shit/. I want it. in my house. Huge. Do it/. Also really cool about "who is up at the same time as me"

Bro. I'm up. My light is on. I'm doing scholarly things. Yet, I have my curtains and blinds securely and secretly fastened.
