I am SO glad you posted these images. A-they're very beautiful and still my favorite series you've worked on. They always get me very excited. B-I just heard about a new artist on NPR that you must check out if you haven't already. I thought of you immediately and signed on to post this, only to find your revisitation of this work. I'm all fired up! haha
Her name is Shizuka Yokomizo. From what I've gathered she wrote people letters, anonymously, asking if they would stand at their windows at a certain time at night, at which point she may or may not take their picture. She never meets the viewer, or even really allows her self to be seen by them. Whew. So intriguing. Check it out.
